The Friends and Benefactors of the London Philharmonic Orchestra share our passion for performance at the highest level and demonstrate this by contributing between £50 and £1000 a year to the Orchestra.

Join to experience first-hand the creative process at rehearsals, get to know the musicians at special private events and receive a range of benefits throughout the Orchestra’s Royal Festival Hall Season.
"As a Friend I feel part of a great orchestra which has given me so much wonderful music. In a small way I am able to contribute to LPO which needs so much help to augment its ticket sales." John Montgomery, Principal Friend

Any payment over and above the specified membership level will be eligible for Gift Aid, meaning the Orchestra receives an extra 25 pence from the Inland Revenue for every pound you give. Higher rate tax payers can also reclaim tax on charitable donations. For your donations to be eligible for Gift Aid, each tax year (6 April to 5 April) you must pay an amount of UK Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year. Other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify.
