Champagne and Dessert Reception
Members of the American Friends of the London Philharmonic Orchestra enjoyed a Champagne and Dessert Reception at Manhattan’s Petrosian restaurant following the Orchestra’s performance at Carnegie Hall. LPO Guests enjoyed the company of Principal Conductor Vladimir Jurowski, pianist Emanuel Ax, and musicians from the Orchestra at an exclusive evening last December.
 
Private recital by Emanuel Ax
As a taster for the forthcoming US Tour in December 2011, members of the American Friends were entertained at the home of Simon Yates and Kevin Roon by pianist Emanuel Ax, who will appear with the Orchestra at Carnegie Hall on Thursday 8 December. Mr Ax very generously donated this recital, which was attended by over eighty guests and helped raise much-needed funds in support of the tour.
