"I send all my best wishes to the London Philharmonic on their seventy-fifth anniversary - they're almost as old as I am.  I've always admired their great professionalism and have many good memories of our work together. With a newly refurbished home at the Royal Festival Hall and a new and very talented Music Director in Vladimir Jurowski the future looks bright. I wish them well for the next seventy five years."
BERNARD HAITINK KBE
