The London Philharmonic Orchestra provides support and materials to help teachers get the most out of the BrightSparks concerts.
Resource packs
To complement each BrightSparks concert there is a Resource Pack, which includes information on the music to be performed and practical activities for the classroom. The Resource Pack will be available to view and download here before the concert, along with recordings of the participation piece and the music you will hear at the concert. You will also receive a hard copy if you attend the teachers’ session.

Teachers’ sessions
Each BrightSparks concert is accompanied by free teachers' sessions.
These sessions explore and illustrate the Resource Pack in a workshop situation. Teachers are encouraged to join in and work through some of the preparatory material with our Education Project Leaders. When you complete the online booking form for the BrightSparks schools' concert, there will be an opportunity to choose which teachers' session you would like to attend.
The next teacher’s sessions will be on 22 September 2010 (KS1).
