Can we come to your schools concerts?
Tickets for the BrightSparks Concerts are given out, free of charge, on a first come first served basis and can be applied for online.
To receive more information about our BrightSparks Concerts you can join our mailing list. Email your school's details with a contact name, number and email to the Education and Community Assistant Alec Haylor at alec.haylor@lpo.org.uk.
Where is the hall?
The Royal Festival Hall is part of the Southbank Centre and is situated on Belvedere Road, London SE1 8XX. The nearest stations are Waterloo or Embankment.
When should we arrive at the Hall?
Please leave plenty of time to get to your seats before the start of the concert. The hall is open all morning and there is lots of public space for schools groups to congregate if they arrive early.
Is there somewhere for us to eat our packed lunch?
Yes, there is plenty of space in the foyers of the Royal Festival Hall.
How can my school take part in ConcertLink?
A selection of schools who receive tickets for the BrightSparks concerts receive invitations to apply for the Concertlink programme. If your school is eligible you will be contacted via email once your booking is confirmed.
We are not in central London. Can we still apply for tickets?
Yes, applications are accepted from all schools within the greater London area. Priority is given to Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham.
Where can I park? There are two car parks and various coach spaces available at Southbank Centre. You can find full information on the Parking page of Southbank Centre’s website. There are also some coach bays next to the London Eye which must be reserved (booking instructions). Further information on coach parking in London can be found on Transport for London’s Coaches page.
