Foyle Future Firsts
The London Philharmonic Orchestra's
Student Apprenticeship Scheme
Training
Development
Support
The London Philharmonic Orchestra has always recognised the
need to support the training and development of young musicians.
The early stages of a musician's career can be particularly
challenging, so the London Philharmonic Orchestra aims to
provide greater support to the players of the future. This
innovative and unique programme has been designed following
feedback from former London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra players
and aims to help bridge the transition period between college
and the professional platform. We hope that this programme
will produce players of the very highest standards and form
the base of future Orchestral appointments to the London Philharmonic
Orchestra and other world class orchestras and ensembles.
A bursary is available to participants on completion of the
scheme.
